I am a designer, artist, maker and Landscape Architect who has been based at Model House since 1993.

I bring together my extensive knowledge and expertise of the landscape as a whole with my life-long interest in art and design to produce several strands of artwork.
​
PRINTMAKING
My woodcuts are hand-printed, using several separate blocks to produce multi-layered, multi-coloured print editions.
The monotypes that I print are wide-ranging, combining stencils, found objects, with painting and drawing techniques.
Cyanotypes, the original 'blueprint' or 'sun print' method, produce one-off negative blue-&-white prints from plants, photographic negatives, and a variety of objects in combination.
 
I put together a variety of montages and assemblages using extracts from my printmaking - nothing is wasted!

FELTWORK
Employing nuno- and other wet felting techniques, my feltwork tends to be richly coloured and multi-textured, using primarily merino wool with silks and many types of yarns and fabrics.
​
I make accessories and wearable pieces such as scarves, bags and brooches.
A variety of functional home ware such as mats, wall-hangings, cushions and vessels form the other strand of my feltwork.
​
I am proud to be able to say that my prints, pictures, and feltwork have been exhibited and won prizes throughout South Wales. My artwork continues to evolve and develop, and I always have something new in the making, and a selection on display for sale at my studio.
I am at my studio on the top floor most days.
